About TreeDwellers
In the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, TreeDwellers redefines luxury in nature. Seven contemporary treehouses rise quietly among the trees — each handcrafted, light-filled and rooted in the philosophy of Forward to Nature: the belief that modern comfort and wild connection should co-exist, not compete.
Each stay invites stillness, reflection, and reconnection — with the forest, with one another, and with yourself.
How to Choose Your Treehouse

Yoga Pagoda & Forest Megaphone
Handcrafted spaces for stillness, sound and connection
Designed and made by master craftsmen Dan Holland of Bear Woodcraft and Ben Duckworth of Raven Roundwood Timber Framing, the Yoga Pagoda and Forest Megaphone are two of TreeDwellers’ most distinctive spaces — quietly spectacular structures shaped from natural timber, woodland inspiration and deep creative skill.
Together, they offer guests two complementary ways to connect with the forest: through movement and through sound, through stillness and through curiosity.
Yoga Pagoda – A Sanctuary for Movement & Mindfulness
Hand-built by Dan and Ben using traditional roundwood techniques and sustainably sourced timber, the Pagoda is a beautifully crafted circular pavilion set among the pines. Open on all sides, it welcomes soft light, calm air and gentle birdsong — creating a serene space that supports slow, mindful movement.

Perfect for:
- ✓
morning yoga or stretching
- ✓
breathwork and meditation
- ✓
journaling or quiet reading
- ✓
small private sessions and wellness rituals
Its circular geometry and hand-finished details reflect the makers’ shared philosophy: that structures should feel rooted, honest, and deeply connected to their environment. Guests are welcome to use the Pagoda at any time during their stay.
The Forest Megaphone – A Wooden Instrument for Listening & Play
Crafted with extraordinary care by Dan Holland and Ben Duckworth, the Forest Megaphone is both sculpture and instrument — a giant timber horn inspired by Nordic listening vessels.

Its form amplifies and shapes sound, allowing you to:
- ✓
listen to the forest with heightened clarity
- ✓
speak, sing or whisper into the chamber and feel the resonance
- ✓
experience the woodland in a playful, sensory, deeply embodied way
Some guests use it for meditation, others for moments of shared fun, and many simply rest inside it to feel held by its warm curvature and acoustic embrace. It’s a space that invites curiosity, presence and a childlike sense of wonder.
Crafted with Purpose, Rooted in the Forest
Dan and Ben’s craftsmanship embodies the TreeDwellers ethos of Forward to Nature:
- ✓
natural materials
- ✓
low-impact foundations
- ✓
traditional joinery
- ✓
gentle architecture that enhances — never competes with — the woodland
The Pagoda and Megaphone sit lightly in the landscape, offering timeless spaces for breath, quiet ritual, connection and reflection. You’re invited to explore them at your own pace — whether you begin the day with gentle stretching or end it by listening to the forest settle into dusk
